Are you VEGETARIAN or VEGAN?
One of the most important features of any “healthy” diet is sufficient protein. In this difficult time while we are all working to keep ourselves healthy and safe, to keep your immune system strong you need to be sure you are getting sufficient protein in your diet.
Some excellent non-animal sources of protein are:
Protein is an important component of every cell in the body. … Your body uses protein to build and repair tissues. You also use protein to make enzymes, hormones, and other body chemicals. Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood.
It’s especially important for keeping our body strong enough to fight off disease. I am a qualified Naturopathic Nutritional advisor and you may note, if you are a vegan or vegetarian, I haven’t mentioned “greens”. That is because an influx of too many greens, for some, with underlying health conditions, can prove problematic.
