What is Energy Horse Whispering?
Horse whispering is a gentle method of communicating with horses. It blends the principles of natural horsemanship with intuitive and spiritual elements. It is about communicating with horses through energy, intention and presence rather than just physical or voice cues.
A horse whisperer builds trust and respect with the horse by first asking permission to enter his/her energy. Energetic horse whispering goes way back, rooted in practices used by indigenous people and early horsemen.
Horses being highly sensitive and intuitive creatures feel and respond to the energy we project even before we move or speak.
That includes our emotional state, inner calm or chaos, confidence and overall presence.
Horses can “read” your energy and will mirror it.
Once the horse gives permission then a dialogue can begin.
I personally begin by simply asking “what would you like us to know?”.
And usually the floodgates open with a wealth of information.
It can be to do with the horses health; physical wellbeing; emotional state; mental health or even an issue with their owner.
My role is to pass this information on to the owner.
This builds a closer bond between owner and horse and leads to a better understanding of each others needs.
Which of course, means a much happier horse and rider!
For some horses it is a simple energy exchange of information but sometimes the horse will say it needs some assistance energetically, for example recently I was visiting a yard to see a horse when another lovely young horse approached me eagerly. On him touching me I felt waves of sadness, like that of a child and the owner said he had been mistreated as a foal (not by them). He was still carrying the pain and emotional wounds.
This horse knew what he needed and pestered me all afternoon making me promise I wouldnt leave the yard until I had helped him. Once it was his turn, he showed me instantly what was needed – a clearing at the Brachial Chakra and once I had done that he thanked me and simply walked away very happy!
